Tasks

-Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed. -Maintain and track inventory and tooling within approved inventory levels. -Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. -Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all heavy duty equipment and/or related equipment in a timely fashion and on customer site. -Adhere to Finning expense claim policies and ensure proper management of expenses. -Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools. -Work as part of a team to meet Finning customer service commitments. -Maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers. -Travel to customer facilities and worksite where and when required, communicating field work to Service Supervisor to maximize service hours. -Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturer specifications. -Ensure all service documentation and billing is accurate and properly recorded. -Perform routine maintenance work.
