Tasks
-Coordinates development and presentation of material when requested -Provides input to and/or maintains technical logs and records -Evaluates, selects, and applies standard mechanical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications -Coordinates work and collaborates with other engineering disciplines -Prepares or assists in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals -Provides technical assistance to other mechanical personnel and will interact with project functions, the customer, and regulatory agency personnel in the resolution of complex regulatory issues and industry codes and standards -Provides assistance to project and construction management in identifying and complying with project mechanical requirements and in addressing issues as they arise during project execution -Provides direct support to other engineering disciplines for mechanical related matters -Compiles, adjusts, and correlates data that will develop professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard mechanical engineering techniques, procedures and criteria utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs) -Participates in the design, development, modification and evaluation of mechanical components and processes used utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs)

-Basic knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or Unified Facilities Guide Specifications using SpecsIntact -Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance. -Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as AS9100. -Basic knowledge of mechanical system design, including sizing and equipment selection, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and requirements verification -Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering with 1-2 years of experience -Passed Engineering in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering Examination in USA (Mechanical or related Engineering). -Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience
