Senior Planning Engineer

Tasks

-To support Client approval process of the Schedule Baseline by providing accurate data. -To define the Project Breakdown Structures. -To manage the Planning & Scheduling team (if any), mainly on small and middle size projects. -To monitor and control the project status, to detect any delay and to propose corrective actions in order to mitigate risks and prevent any delay when assigned to project as and when necessary. -To develop a Schedule compliant with the selected execution strategy. -To get Client approval of progress claimed or milestones achieved in order to enable invoicing. -To estimate the delay linked with changes and claims and to prepare the Extension of Time analysis, in case of delay due to Client. -Responsible for the development, updating and maintenance of Project Planning & scheduling system (methods, time-schedules, physical progress, dashboards, etc). -To define and optimize the necessary resources (E-P-C-I). -To define the Planning & Scheduling system (methods, time-schedules, physical progress, dashboards, etc). -To increase Project team member’s awareness of the Project Milestones, main durations and critical paths. -To provide Project Feedback and Lessons Learned in order to improve the Planning & Scheduling methods and provide input to the statistics of Planning Department.

What You Bring

-Knowledge in EPIC work processes. -Certification in project management eg: PMI, AACE or equivalent -Engineering degree with 10 years’ experience in Project execution preferably in an Engineering / EPIC firm -Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS office tools especially MS Excel/Power BI -We promote active listening for effective decisions and action. -At least 7 years’ Experience in handling FEED and Detailed Engineering projects -To define for the Management, the Proposal Manager and the Estimation Department a Contract duration realistic and feasible for execution by Technip Energies.
