Tasks
-Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team -Prepare design and construction documents for new structures and for structural upgrades to existing facilities as a part of an integrated multi-disciplinary A/E team -Assume responsibility for client development, project profiles, strategic project implementation, and organizational planning and leadership -Develop new Structural Engineering engagements and search for new value propositions -Lead a team of engineers and designers in the development of Structural design documents and deliverables for all project phases (conceptual and detailed design, feasibility studies, construction documentation) -Mentor, nurture, and develop our BW Design group professionals -Develop strong relationships within the region and the Architecture, Engineering, and Process, Practice in support of the Architecture, Engineering, and Process, Practice vision

What You Bring
-Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT (preferred) -A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions -A minimum of three years of experience as a structural engineering design manager (preferred) -Hands on experience with structural engineering software such as ETABS, RISA, RAM, STAAD, SAP, Mathcad, and ENERCALC -The ability to lead a structural engineering design team -A minimum of twelve years of architecture/engineering facilities structural design experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other industrial manufacturing facilities and processes -A master’s degree in structural engineer or engineering management (preferred) -Detailed knowledge of building codes and seismic requirements -Solid written and verbal technical communication including generating reports and conducting group presentations -A bachelor of science in civil or structural engineering from an ABET accredited institution -Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint -The ability to present designs to new and existing clients -A professional engineer (PE) license required. SE license preferred. -Experience in the analysis and design of structures with an emphasis on seismic design
