IT SUPPORT ASSISTANT

First-line desktop & network support for 450 users across 23 UK sites.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Liaise with external third-party suppliers for CCTV, email system, Design software, as well as third party IT company -Liaise with internal departments for CRM, SAP, Wareflow, Design software -Administration of Network infrastructure, Firewalls and Internet connections. -SAP administration, unlocking and requesting new accounts, logging calls on the Head Office helpdesk -Repair/replace hardware - PCs and peripherals, mobile phones, tablets, printers etc -Installation of company software - Wareflow, SAP, MS Office, Design software -Setup company mobiles/hand held devices, tablets -Setup new users/new PCs -First point of contact for antivirus, iPads, Video Conference system

-Communication Skills - working within contacts in and outside of the organisation -Must be able to work on your own initiative - self-motivated, able to think outside the box and come up with solutions to problems quickly -MS Windows Server Administration - Active Directory, DNS, DHCP -Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure is essential -Desktop Support - via phone, email and face-to-face -Telephony administration -Flexibility and adaptability
