The Role
Overview
Supervises M&E works on T&D site, ensuring health, safety, quality and compliance.

Tasks
-Ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout the project and assist with the generation of as built drawings -Enforce compliance with company and site safety policies. -Responsible for the recruitment, development, training, and retention of staff. -Responsible for overall QA/QC process adherence. -Ensure compliance to CDM regulations on site. -Set others to work and monitor throughout the task / project -Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the department. -To support clients and ensure all agreed KPIs are met or exceeded -Assist with the implementation of Safe Systems of Work including Low Voltage procedures and Impressed Voltage procedures -Ensure works are delivered to a programme whilst maintaining the highest standards of health and safety -Produce reports and provide information in a timely manner -Complies with all policies and standards -Promote best practice, capture best practice and ensure it is fed-back into the business. -Responsible for interpreting the organization's policies, purposes, and goals to staff. -Ensure all setting to work procedures are followed -Lead by example in health, safety, quality & environmental management. -To provide sufficient and timely supervision and guidance to ensure staff and sub-contractors are performing to agreed production levels -To comply with the relevant Company HSQE and welfare policy provisions -Responsible for conducting performance evaluations for department staff.

What You Bring
-Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor experience -Previous experience in a supervisory level -IOSH environmental or equivalent -CSCS or CCNSG Safety Passport -HNC / HND in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering -General Certificate of Secondary Education applicable years of exp in lieu of degree 8 years of experience in the T&D industry in an M&E role, preferably on National Grid sites Required -Full UK driving licence -Nation Grid Competent Person NSI 6 & 8 Full -IOSHH Managing Safely or SMSTS or SSSTS -Formal Electrical / Mechanical training -Impressed Voltage training
