Overview

Install, terminate, and program AV equipment and cabling for client projects.

Tasks

-Installs, connects, and manages video routers and switches -Installation of cameras -Identify cable types including, but not limited to: SVID, Composite, RBGHV CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, DVI -Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts including the recording of serial model numbers -Partners with co-workers and management to provide world-class customer service to clients -Completes and updates daily reports, project photos, timecards and project status -Troubleshoot client complex audio-video equipment -Complete all assigned projects in a high-quality manner and in compliance with scopes of project assignment

What You Bring

-Ability to identify and understand various source plates -Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables and network cable testers -Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. -Ability to make sound decisions and escalate matters quickly and efficiently -Ability to dress racks -Knowledge of basics of AC/D voltage -Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and operate mobile devices -Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portals -Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings and room flow diagrams -Ability to fit into tight spaces including ceiling access panels, closets, interstitial spaces
