CADD Operator - Land Survey

Tasks

-Analyze and prepare complete boundary survey by compiling record data and providing sound analysis and reason for accurate property line location. -Organize and coordinate the work of field and office staff required to complete design, field and/or other tasks on more complex projects. -Provide direction to staff to complete project objectives. -Perform Quality Control review on reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and other contract documents prepared by others for accuracy and completeness. -Provide assistance to staff in the preparation of reports/findings, plans, and other contract documents. -Assist in the preparation of project/task work plans. -Monitor the work efforts of assigned staff including sub-consultants and/or contractors.

What You Bring

-Experience working on DOT projects preferred. -Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. -Advanced knowledge of various surveying instruments, techniques, and computations. -Advanced understanding of angular and linear measurement systems. -AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required. MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads proficiency highly preferred. -3D Scanning Registration Experience a plus. -High School Diploma/GED is required; Associate degree or equivalent technical experience is preferred. -Construction Surveying Experience a plus. -1+ year(s) of related surveying experience required. -Advanced knowledge of trigonometry and geometry. -Proficient various data techniques and coding systems. -Valid drivers’ license required and ability to operate a motor vehicle. MVR will be checked and monitored.
