Tasks

-Participate in Garver's acclaimed wellness program, empowering you to prioritize your overall well-being. -Enhance your professional growth by collaborating with Garver's Learning and Development team, which offers tailored training and programs, including skills-based courses, designed to support your development. -Learn and utilize industry-related design software such as MicroStation, Inroads/OpenRoads, and CulvertMaster/FlowMaster. -Engage daily with fellow Garver Launch interns and industry professionals to build your network. -Actively participate in plan preparation and design by working alongside our dynamic team and being exposed to many aspects of transportation engineering including highway, intersection, maintenance of traffic, and drainage designs.

What You Bring

-Must be pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Proficient in Microsoft Office. -Become familiar with relevant DOT standards for highway design and plan preparation. -Previous internship experience (preferred). -Reliable and responsible individual.
