The Role
Overview
Manage hotel construction projects, overseeing planning, budgeting, schedule, and compliance.

Tasks
-Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts -Obtain, necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites -Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes -Ensure document control and record keeping -Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors -Perform qualitative review of all contract documents to mitigate risk -Manage construction schedule and activities -Perform jobsite audits and inspections -Determine and define project scope of work and deliverables -Submitting close-out documents -Predict resources needed to complete project -Review design documents for compliance to specifications and contract -Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements -Review project plans, scopes, submittals and drawings for specification compliance and design issues. -Manage costs in order to meet budget -Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships -Work with superintendents to facilitate the project construction process and coordinate staff activities to assure achievement of goals -Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines

What You Bring
Experience with managing hotel construction projects is mandatory. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including customers and vendors -Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles -Proficiency with Google Suite -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and project management experience -Experience working with Project Management Software such as ProCore -Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information relevant to project
