The Role

Overview

Clean and maintain guest rooms and bathrooms, replenish amenities, and assist lobby staff.

Tasks

-Replace any unused amenities and report any maintenance concerns. -Assist Lobby Attendant in delivering guest requests. -Assist PM attendants by stripping and making beds, changing bed linens, dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves in team effort. -Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests and employee safety in the event of an emergency -Provide maid service for guest rooms and meet cleanliness and guest satisfaction. -Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents. -Sign for room keys and restock heavy cart. -Assist Lobby Attendant in public areas as needed. -Keep work area neat and organized -Attend all mandatory meetings -Provide maid service by doing a thought out cleaning, vacuum, undusted, replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies and filling ice bucket as preferred by guest. -Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify cleaning completion -Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to Safety/Security Department

-Commitment to superior customer service and excellent customer service skills. -Must be able to carry 25 lbs. -Fluency in job related English both verbal and non-verbal. -Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary. -Strong initiative and self-motivation. -Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast paced environment. -Minimum one year experience within housekeeping dept.
