The Role
Overview
Manage lab instrumentation team, ensure maintenance, compliance, budget, and staffing.

Tasks
-Conduct financial analysis including the preparation of reports. -Conduct performance evaluators and coaching. -Order and track inventory of spare parts and consumables. -Work within broad guidelines and policies. -Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. -Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. -Track, evaluate, and report performance on quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction. -Review and update LIS and LTS equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures. -Ensure all programs and procedures of the staff are being properly performed. -Review all expenditures for tools, equipment, supplies, materials, and additional contract requirements and submit for approval. -Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. -Impact a range of customers, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams. -Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. -Monitor the training and development of staff. -Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. -Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. -Provide formal supervision to employees. -Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. -Manage contractor specifications, problems, performance, and administration. -Support the development and administrator of the department budget.

What You Bring
-Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. -Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. -In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. -Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. -Strong leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments' results within a function. -Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. -Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
