Tasks

-Developing a proposed internal carbon pricing model. -Support sustainability initiatives in partnership with TTC’s engineering, innovation, and business teams. -Contribute to TTC’s sustainability strategy through technical deliverables, reports, and presentations. -Creating and delivering internal outreach and education materials to promote TTC’s sustainability goals. -Investigating life cycle assessments (LCAs) and designing a pilot program to integrate LCA thinking into product development. -Supporting general corporate sustainability initiatives and data-driven decision-making. -Advance global sustainability objectives across TTC by supporting projects such as:

-Strong sense of responsibility and accountability – takes ownership and demonstrates initiative and follow-up. -Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic environment. -Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. -Strong experience with Excel. -Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and a customer service orientation. -Experience performing Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) -Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering (Mechanical, Environmental, Agricultural, or Industrial); Data Science; Environmental & Sustainability Science or a related field -Knowledge of circular economy principles -Adaptable and flexible – ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities.
