The Role
Overview
Outdoor maintenance of lakes & ponds, weed control, stormwater inspection.

Tasks
-Visual inspection of stormwater components. -Identify and treat invasive weeds. -Improving the overall aesthetics of the sites. -Handle administrative duties. -Mowing/string trimming sites. -Implement safety training for field staff. -Occasional travel may be required.

What You Bring
-Mechanically inclined. -Valid Driver's License. -Experience in the following disciplines are desirable: fisheries, wildlife management, conservation, ecology, biology, environmental sciences or forestry. -Basic math skills to calculate product applications. -Florida Aquatic Pesticide Applicator License or be able to obtain a license within 30 days of hire. -Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. -Ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis. -Experience in lake and pond management, pest/herbicide control or surveying is preferred. -Great communication skills. -Able to swim and comfortable around water.
