Internship supporting construction project management and business operations at ESI.

Tasks
-Change management document distribution and tracking. -Building Operations -Subcontract payment processing. -Subcontract/Purchase order distribution and tracking. -Accounting closeout processes. -Supporting the Information Technology team with service desk requests, asset management, and other installation, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting efforts. -Attend & help coordinate company events that occur during your internship, including groundbreakings, ESI CARES events, employee events, etc. -Supporting the Human Resources team with employee onboarding communication, human resources documentation, benefits administration, and insight into applicable laws and policies (including affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, etc.). -Mentored by a Superintendent, Project/Field Engineer, and/or Project Manager. -Manage project documentation control, including organizing, maintaining, and updating plan updates (ASIs, CCDs, etc.), RFIs and responses, submittals, and taking and distributing meeting minutes. -Assist in all aspects of a construction project, including bidding, construction/operations, project close-out, and warranty, depending on phase of assigned project. -Representing ESI as an ambassador to clientele, design teams, city officials, and subcontractors. -Assist in the management and coordination of on-site trades. -Supporting the Marketing team with proposals, various media initiatives (design/photo/video), and other marketing efforts. -Subcontractor joint check documentation, correspondence, and processing. -Project documentation management, correspondence, and logs.

The ideal candidate will be within 2 years, or less, of graduation/successful completion of their degree. -Exposure to shadow Project Engineer/Project Manager and Field Engineer/Superintendent Responsibilities. -Typically working 20+ hours per week during the school year and 40+ hours per week during the summer (exact schedule TBD based on project and team needs). -Technical and soft skill trainings. -Project accounting and financial analysis. -High school diploma or GED completed and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, HR, computer science, information technology, or business administration, or related majors preferred.
