Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Will be responsible for the operation as it relates to, compressors, auxiliary, equipment, engines, pump stations, pumps, valves and other related equipment. -Perform structural inspections as required. -Snow/weed removal as necessary. -Must communicate to all crew members any instructions required while daily tasks are completed and ensure to work in a safe manner along with all other Team Members. -Start, stop, and operate engines/pumps within defined operating parameters. -Climb onto top and underneath railcars in order to inspect and seal railcars using a checklist -Learn from directions, observations, and mistakes and apply procedures using good judgement. -Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. -Ensure the cost effective and efficient performance of all engines, pumps and associated equipment at the compressor stations. -Operate within Watco’s Customer First Foundation Principals with the customer, safety and the team’s goals always a priority. -Complete all applicable documentation, inspections and recordkeeping. -Prepare equipment for product transfer.

What You Bring

-Ability to pass Safety Course administered by customer. -A valid Driver’s Licenseis preferred for this position -Power tools, hydraulic equipment, power drills, and basic hand tools (i.e., wrench, screwdriver, sockets, measuring tape, etc.) -Ability to pass training and required testing -PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, splash goggles, face shield, gloves, steel toed boots, fire retardant clothing, full face respirator. -Must be flexible and able to work any shift. -Ability to understand Watco Transload and Intermodal safety rules and regulations.
