The Role

Overview

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment and support production operations.

Tasks

-Complete end of shift reports communicating between maintenance and production departments. -Locates sources of problems by observing machinery in operation. -Dismantle machinery to remove or replace defective parts. -Identify complex electrical, mechanical and pneumatic problems on production machinery and facility equipment. -Support production workers during routine preventative maintenance activities; (TPM). -Repair facility and building items as needed. -Performing housekeeping, making sure area is clean at all times. -Optimize use of maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies needed to repair equipment to OEM standards. -Installs, repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment. -Utilize tools to isolate malfunctioning equipment (ex. Multimeter, tachometer, callipers, etc.) -Log all work performed into the Company CMMS. -Perform routine tasks such as greasing bearings, changing belts, changing oil, performing inspections, cleaning equipment, etc. to maintain equipment reliability. -Order replacement parts for stock or parts for repair.

What You Bring

-Squatting, Climbing and/or Crawling: Must be able to squat/climb/crawl 25% of the day. -Lift: Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds. -Stand: Must be able to stand 80% - 85% of the day. -Able to work on heights, climb several flights of stairs (over 5 stories) daily if required. -Twisting/Bending: Must be able to twist/bend 75% of the day. -Good English language skills both verbal and written (Spanish speaking a plus). -Good computer skills including Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook). -Minimum of 1 year experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment. -Push/Pull: Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Sitting: Must be able to sit 25% of the day. -Must pass pre-employment physical.
