Overview

Coordinate safety programs and enforce OSHA compliance on industrial construction sites.

Tasks

-Investigate cause of an incident and complete reports as required. -Responsible for conducting daily safety meetings. -Ensure that work areas are maintained in a neat, safe and orderly fashion. -Responsible for conducting orientation and jobsite specific training. -Assist Site Manager in administrative counseling to team members and subcontractors who are in non-compliance with safety requirements. -Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety program on site. -Ensure that appropriate safety records are maintained. -Reinforce that team members on the project site are in compliance with the safety requirements of the company. -Hold safety meetings/jobsite review as part of coordination meetings. -Enforce the use of safety equipment/clothing as required by OSHA and company safety regulations.

What You Bring

-Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs. -Experience in an industrial construction environment is highly preferred. -Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing. -Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 5+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree. -Demonstrated knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
