Overview
Design, install, program, and troubleshoot DDC building automation systems for commercial projects.

Tasks
-Lead and manage DDC control systems' design, installation, and commissioning in commercial buildings, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards. -Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines. -Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to DDC controls, building automation systems, and emerging IoT (Internet of Things) technologies. -Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system malfunctions or failures, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools, software, and protocols. -Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, regulations, and safety protocols throughout all project phases. -Develop comprehensive control strategies, including logic programming, algorithms, and system sequencing, to optimize energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and system reliability. -Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and coordination with other trades and contractors.

What You Bring
-Expertise in advanced controls programming languages and platforms such as Reliable, Niagara, Tridium, or equivalent. -Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex control system issues. -Demonstrated experience in controls system integration, including integration with other building systems and IoT technologies. -In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, and electrical codes. -Strong project management skills, including managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. -Strong knowledge of building automation protocols and communication networks, such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, etc. -Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex control drawings, schematics, and specifications. -Thorough understanding of HVAC systems, including air handling units, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, etc. -Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered. -A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required. -Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, installing, programming, and troubleshooting DDC control systems and/or HVAC in complex commercial buildings.
