The Role

Overview

Assist civil/site engineers with drafting, field visits, and project documentation.

Tasks

-Read and review project drawings and plans. -Our interns will assist technical staff on day-to-day projects. -Observe project sites and evaluate contractors’ work to detect problems with a design. -Prepare reports and document project activities and data. -Use AutoCAD Civil 3D software under the charge of Engineers. -Prepare analyses from collected data. -Deliver plans and reports to government and regulatory agencies. -Confer with engineers about preparing plans. -Set up and help maintain project files and records.

What You Bring

-Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an interest in Civil/Site Development, or a related program. -Must be able to work in a high-paced environment. -Basic understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred. -Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. -Must have reliable transportation to the office. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Possess solid problem-solving skills. -Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.
