Tasks

Attend additional training and manufacturer courses as required to further develop technical knowledge. You will support the delivery of planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, and installation of a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial and light industrial sites. Support with fault finding, leak testing, pressure testing, evacuation, and refrigerant charging. Assist senior engineers with the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF units. Communicate effectively with customers, site personnel, and office staff. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies. Carry out routine preventative maintenance and performance checks. Accurately complete service sheets, job reports, and asset documentation using digital tools or paperwork.

A recently qualified air conditioning and refrigeration engineer who has completed their City & Guilds Level 3 and F-Gas Category 1 certification, looking to gain valuable field experience and progress towards becoming a fully independent mobile engineer. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. We are seeking a motivated and recently qualified Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer (Improver) to join our expanding building services team. This role is ideal for an engineer who has recently completed their City & Guilds Level 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and F-Gas Category 1 qualification, and is looking to gain practical, on-the-job experience under the guidance of experienced professionals. Full UK driving licence. City & Guilds Level 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (7189 or equivalent). Good understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning principles and system components. F-Gas Category 1 (City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent). Basic electrical knowledge or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions effectively. Some experience assisting with air conditioning installation or maintenance. Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
