Lead crew in servicing and repairing modular buildings, scheduling, quality and safety.

Tasks
-Coordinate and prioritize work schedule for production crew, assign modular mechanics tasks, learn/train as needed, and verify quality according to our standards. -Act as a back fill for other leaders when necessary -Ensure team maintains tools, supplies and work area consistent with the area’s 6S checklist -Actively participate in safety meetings and safety training of crew members. Carry out current industry safety practices to include knowledge of OSHA requirements. Conduct daily and weekly safety audits and document results -Perform preventative maintenance and construction on modular buildings to include, but not limited to, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and cleaning. -Provide continuous training of crew members and new employees; coaches and counsels team members as needed with regards to responsibilities of their positions -Monitor the work of team members to meet productivity, quality and safety requirements -Deliver a high quality output consistent with the Company’s construction standards

What You Bring
-Able to work outside in variable weather conditions -Valid Driver’s License -Able to take, record and follow standard measurements and cut or separate materials to specific measurements or quantities -Knowledge of current building codes to include 2016 CBC and 2018 IBC and ADA a plus. -Able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, procedures and Company specific work orders, work instructions and floor plans provided; -Able to effectively lead a team and offer guidance and direction -Prior experience overseeing the work of a team of at least 6 employees desired -Able to read Company’s construction documents (provided in English) and provide guidance to construction team to complete necessary work -Prior experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC or other specialties preferred -Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objects -Ability to complete material and labor take offs from blue prints a plus -Ability to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines -Prior experience of at least 4-6 years in the construction or related industry performing and leading general construction trades required. -Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the day -Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activities -Ability to safely perform all tasks and understand Company’s safety policies and procedures -Fluency in spoken and written Spanish preferred -Knowledge of LEAN a plus
