Tasks

-Responsibility for the daily functions within the warehouse, including Receiving of Shop Tools, Supplies, and Inventory Items. -Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by following all warehouse SOP’s and ensure all goods are in excellent condition. -Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management. -Monitor the cleanliness and maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion to allow quick and easy access to inventory and supplies as needed. -Accurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items -Properly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition. -Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped. -Will coach and train new hires on the warehouse standard operating procedures. -Participates with Inventories at intervals as prescribed by the Company. -Communicate with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure products are on hand as needed. -Organize and sort items on shelves, bins, and overhangs according to company standards. -Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received. -Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location.

What You Bring

-Motivated and work well with others. -Experience using a forklift is strongly preferred. -Strong leadership skills. -Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory. -Forklift experience a plus. -Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy -Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs -This position requires working in a warehouse environment. -Performing this job requires frequent use of hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the day. Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently. -Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing -High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.). -Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouse. -Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. -Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.
