Tasks
-Responsible and accountable for the important metrics regarding Platform support services -Ensure timely response to system alerts and customer reported issues, raising concerns as appropriate. -Get the issues / requests resolved by exercising independent judgment within established Incident, Change, Configuration, Problem, Knowledge guidelines and support practices. -Enforce and govern configuration, change, and release management policies and procedures -Continuously explore new features provided in the platform with every new release and accordingly strive for improvements in the existing set-up -Performs application maintenance with provider to include platform performance monitoring and proactive error identification/remediation -Coordinate and govern proper adjudication and disposition of incident, requests, and change tickets assigned to the team according to established guidelines. -Maintain situational awareness of ongoing incidents, problems, and events, providing timely and accurate information to support decision-making -Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to discuss release scope. -Lead and co-ordinate the launch activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists. -Maintain deep, extensive knowledge of ServiceNow’s capabilities and constraints. -Develop, implement, and enforce incident management plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure effective response to minimize impact on the organization and its stakeholders. -Ensure that approved software release packages and break-fix solutions are deployed by platform administrators in accordance with configuration, change, and release management policies and procedures -Responsible for documenting system administration tasks such as patching, configuring software, responding to service outages, monitoring system performance, fixing system issues, managing accounts, etc. -Maintain SOP, handover documentation for project activities with provider/implementation teams -Develop, implement, and enforce deployment plans and operation checklists for the sustainment of the platform.

-Effective interpersonal and communication abilities are essential for partnering with business customers, partners, and users to address and fix problems -Strong analytical and critical thinking skills committed to providing excellent support -ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certifications -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with self-motivation -3+ years’ experience working in ServiceNow ITSM, ITAM, ITOM -Masters or bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science with 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role. -5+ years’ experience leading operations teams
