Tasks

-While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. -Keeps area safe, clean and organized. -Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor. -Follows standard operating and safety procedures. -Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area. -Operates order picker equipment or stand-up forklift to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets. -Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy. -Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping area. -Utilizes warehouse systems such as Warehouse Management System (WMS).

What You Bring

-Good oral and written communications skills. -Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner. -The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. -Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. -Good record keeping skills. -Ability to understand and speak basic English. -3 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. -Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks. -The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. -High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator. -The aver number of picks per hour is 25 and the average weight is between 40-70 lbs with heavier picks (50-70 lbs) being 65% of the work shift and lighter weight items (20-40 lbs) being 35% of the work shift. -The associate may lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. -Must have a minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift order picker equipment experience. -Accurate measurement capability. -Good listening skills.
