Overview

Lead design and technical process for multiple small‑to‑medium commercial projects.

Tasks

-Collaborate across other disciplines with internal and external team members. -Apply interpersonal communication skills to build strong working relationships, resolve challenges, and motivate the project team. -Manage project assignments and execution aligned with the work plan and with the BHDP Design Process to achieve project goals. -Utilize operational management tools, including workload forecasting, resource planning, and project team development for assigned projects. -Manage the client, consultants, and project staff through the project process on multiple medium and small projects. -Coach, mentor, and develop project staff and direct reports to support employees’ professional development. -Assist in the selection and management of appropriate consultants and internal resources for projects. -Create and foster relationships with key client contacts, manage client expectations, and identify opportunities for future opportunities for partnerships.

What You Bring

-7+ years of experience in the design and architecture industry is required. -Must be working towards registration, having taken 4 out of 6 tests. -Strong communication skills. -Strong knowledge of advanced technology (e.g., Deltek Vantagepoint, Revit, Sketch-Up) -Experience with commercial design is preferred.
