Tasks
-Play a key role in helping reduce the time commitment and oversee the financial accounting close process, including revenue, cost of revenue, operating expenses and balance sheet accounts, in an accurate manner -Lead, manage, and oversee the accounting team, including, but not limited to, G/L Accounting, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets and Consolidation. -Oversee reconciliation and review of financial accounts, ensuring timely completion and close out of reconciling items -Actively manage, mentor and coach team members; inspire and encourage continued growth and development -Perform ad hoc analysis to understand variances in financial and operational drivers -Manage Conflict – Handle conflict effectively, with minimum noise -Document and maintain business processes and accounting policies and procedures to strengthen and maintain an effective internal control environment and integrity of the books and records -Identify financial and operational opportunities and work across functions to drive improvement -Build Effective Teams – Build strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills & perspectives to achieve goals -Assist in managing audits (internal and external) inquiries and relationships, and ensure timely and adequate responses are provided -Collaborate (Plan & Align, Influence) – Build partnerships & work collaboratively w/others to meet shared objectives -Be a key resource for Accounts Payable, Billing, AP and SOX compliance. -Customer Focus – Build strong customer relationships & deliver customer-centric solutions -Provide consistent and reliable data for ongoing forecasting and planning, including P&L and cash flow -Partner closely with FP&A to support data needs and analysis, including executive level reporting for performance monitoring -Build/maintain relationships with Segment/Corporate teams, internal and external auditors, key financial vendors, and customers -Maintain compliance with government and organizational reporting requirements -Help drive business transformation efforts in conjunction with strategic priorities – ERP implementation, acquisition integration, restructuring

What You Bring
-Ability to influence, adapt and lead through change and ambiguity in a dynamic growth environment -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. -Ability to inspire/lead change; track record of building strong teams -BS in Finance or Accounting: MBA, MS and/or CPA preferred -Problem solver adept at envisioning, implementing and building consensus around optimal solutions -Highly organized and detail oriented; able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously; excellent project management and time management skills, with a focus on delivering results on time, on budget, and on goal -Ability to accurately and efficiently close books, report timely results and explain variances -ERP and other system implementation experience (JDE and Oracle Fusion preferred). -Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, accounting processes, internal controls, and accounting/ERP systems -Consolidation software experience, preferably HFM. -Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate vision and gain alignment with senior leaders -Experience with ERP integrations and/or enhancements; JDE or Oracle preferred -Public accounting experience preferred -Experience with a SOX compliant public company environment -Construction accounting experience preferred but not required -5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, with a minimum of 2 years serving in a supervisory role
