Tasks

-Support permitting, feasibility studies, master planning, and design for water and wastewater systems, including water supply and storage, water and wastewater pumping and conveyance and treatment systems. -Serve as the primary point of contact for key municipal water/wastewater clients. -Oversee project teams and subconsultants, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance. -Lead client experience efforts, ensuring satisfaction, strong relationships, and project success. -Lead and manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence. -Manage project financials, including cost-to-complete, revenue forecasting, and contract profitability. -Ensure project revenue portfolio falls within the $500K - $1M range, or serve as a Deputy PM on larger multi-million-dollar projects. -Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering collaboration and accountability. -Deliver successful project closeouts, invoicing, accounts receivable, and contract management. -Identify new opportunities, support proposal development, and collaborate on market growth strategies.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of Washington DOE & DOH regulations, NPDES permitting, and water quality compliance. -Experience working with public agencies, regulatory bodies, and municipal clients in Puget Sound. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field. -10+ years of experience in municipal water/wastewater engineering. -Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington or ability to obtain within six months. -Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams. -Familiarity with WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and other hydraulic modeling software. -6+ years of experience in municipal water/wastewater project management. -Certified or provisionally certified DEA Project Manager (PM III) (or ability to obtain upon hire).
