Lead mechanical engineering team for US water projects, ensuring design, safety, and sustainability.

Tasks

-Ensure management and financial controls are in place across small to medium range projects -Should resolve issues regarding resources/scope/budget -Drive Health & Safety culture of the business within the team. -Building a profile in the industry and keeping up-to-date with innovations and developments. -Ensure that the industry best practices are adopted and implemented on projects -Should play a key role in providing training, mentoring, and continuous feedback to first-time managers -Create opportunities to implement new digital approaches on your projects -Enforce training objectives where appropriate to achieve organizational goals and objectives -An entry-level leadership role leads a large team. Support in developing functional area expertise -Should have led and delivered multi-disciplinary projects and have established strong relationships with members from ANA teams. -Collaborate within your team and other teams within GEC as well as regions to deliver. -Coach your team on safe design processes and identify improvements in the wider business -Independently develop methodologies and review methodologies developed by junior members of the team -Should take full ownership and make others accountable achieving 100% quality (processes/training/checklists) -Liaison with other team members to produce good design solution as per the best design practice. -Should delegate tasks and assign roles to team members to achieve the agreed project and organizational outcomes

What You Bring

-Ability to leading a team on various projects in line with client requirement. -Familiar with US codes, standards, and practices related to Mechanical ,Civil and Environmental Engineering. -A strong, self-motivated and assertive person capable of working under pressure. -Awareness of software used for Piping and equipment modeling. -Should be an independent problem solver -Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. -Compliance of Arcadis business management system. -15+ years’ experience. -Good knowledge of Microsoft office. -Should have worked with and have experience working on ANA Projects. -Expousure to BIM -B.E in Mechanical Engineering / M.E / M. Tech in Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering from a recognized University. -Sound technical knowledge, academically good. -Exposure to Water and Watewater Treatment Plants, Pump Stations, Process , Plant Hydraulics, Process Modeling Softwares viz, BIOWIN is highly desirable.
