The Role

Assist superintendent with site supervision, inspections, scheduling, and client relations.

Tasks

-Prepare and submit Superintendents Daily Reports -Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts -Monitor costs, including labor time and material -Conduct quality inspections -Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, employees). Maintain relationship to ensure needs are met and problems/conflicts are resolved. -Communicates and reinforces the Company vision, mission and values -Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients, including representatives of Owner and Architect/Engineer -Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings -Review and approve Trade Contractor Payment Applications with Project Superintendent and Project Manager -Inspection of Contractor or (sub)Contract operations to ensure compliance with Contract -Develop and maintain logistics plan, in coordination with Project Superintendent and Project Manager -Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates -Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force

-Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience -Must be willing to travel -Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring others
