Tasks

We are looking for an Application Engineer – Electrical to join our Engineering & R&D team. This role involves work order processing, preparation of BOM, catalogues, IOM, technical data, and specification sheets, as well as evaluating SKM selection software and supporting product customization based on customer requirements. -Select appropriate materials and propose alternatives from inventory to ensure timely delivery -Prepare catalogues, IOM, technical data sheets, and specification documents -Develop and maintain SKM item codes and technical databases -Verify electrical wiring diagrams prepared by draughtsman -Process work orders for standard and customized jobs with accuracy and within timelines -Provide technical data for project submittals and sales support -Evaluate SKM selection software and maintain data for software development -Support product modifications through CRF (Contract Review Form)

What You Bring

This role requires strict adherence to SKM’s Quality (ISO 9001), Health & Safety (ISO 45001), and Environment (ISO 14001) standards. -Strong knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams, component selection, regulations, and HVAC control concepts -Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering -PLC/Microprocessor programming skills are an advantage -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills -Experience in HVAC product application, design, and development -Customer-oriented and result-driven mindset -Strong attention to detail with excellent time management -3–5 years of experience in electrical design and HVAC application engineering -Effective teamwork and leadership skills -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and ERP systems
