Overview

Manage passive fire protection projects in NHS hospitals, overseeing staff and subcontractors.

Tasks

-Collate material orders and issue to Service Desk for ordering -Liaise with the Project Manager and end users to make sure they are kept up to date with progress and requirements -Complete O&M manuals on completion of projects -Ensure all works are completed to high quality -Work with the design team to resolve on site design issues -Manage H&S on site including inductions of GRAHAM staff and Subcontractors -Update contractor project reports/programmes in advance of meets -Manage works to deliver to programme -Work alongside the assigned Project Manager to deliver the project to GRAHAM high standards complying with all HSE guidance and GRAHAM procedures along the way. -Record Site events and conditions -Manage Works on site including staff & Subcontractor management -Deliver and schedule works with direct labour and sub-contractors -Attend Client / Prestart / Progress meetings

What You Bring

-PASMA training -NVQ in Construction Management / Site Carpentry -Self-snag works prior to completion of works -Health & Safety Induction Including Management System -Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and ideally Project -Demonstrate previous relevant management experience -IPAF 3a +3b training -CSR/SAFEPASS/CSCS Card -Full UK drivers licence -Demonstrate relevant previous experience in a similar role working within a trade or construction background -First Aid at Work -Basic knowledge and understanding of the electrical and fire alarm systems -Knowledge of UK building regulations -Previous experience in a healthcare environment -Ability to manage time and workload -Proven Leadership and people management skills
