  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Continuously monitor inventory of consumables and tools; communicate shortages to the project management team immediately.
  • Communicate progress and crew needs to the project management team.
  • Track crew hours, production rates, and consumables used each day.
  • Ensure surface preparation, paint application, and curing processes meet manufacturer specifications, and address any deviations from those requirements.
  • Train and supervise painting personnel to successfully complete the painting process.
  • Oversee daily production rates; communicate potential shortfalls and adjust as needed.
  • Identify and resolve problems that may delay or compromise quality or work schedule.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background screen
  • Supervisory experience in commercial, residential, or industrial painting.
  • Knowledge of paint systems and surface preparation.
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, reach for, handle, and manipulate items and to work in extreme weather conditions (cold and wet)
  • Ability to maintain balance
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb or crawl
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Ability to exert heavy physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to correctly rig and hoist material
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to tolerate heights without fear
  • Able to work long, irregular and varied hours, 50 to 70 hours per week
  • Knowledge of safety practices and familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for handling paints, solvents, cleaners, or other materials.
