The Company

About Grupotec

-Born in Valencia in 1997, a group of engineers laid the foundation for what would become a multidisciplinary engineering and architecture powerhouse. -From rooftop photovoltaics to large-scale solar farms, the firm expanded beyond Spain, delivering projects across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. -As both developer and EPC contractor, it has brought over 1.45 GW online and maintains another 650 MW under operation. -Financially buoyed by a 2013 private equity buyout, it leveraged that backing to scale internationally and diversify its services. -Typical projects span roof‑mounted PV systems on industrial sites, full‑turnkey green energy plants, and complex consulting & architecture mandates. -Its toolkit includes engineering design, architectural planning, project development, EPC delivery, O&M and asset management. -Unusual for its size, it also spins off tech platforms like Gesvatec—used globally to protect plant variety rights.
