Tasks

-Create concept designs -Where required take responsibility for the entire product life cycle, including specification, software architecture, design, validation, production release and customer support for released products -Use good engineering practice to design new and modify existing products using company specific software to produce designs and implement systems -Research emerging technical and regulatory trends -Responsible for supporting team members -Develop comprehensive test cases to demonstrate that functional and performance requirements are met -Analyse the scope and requirements -Use Integrated Development Environments together with Change and Configuration Management tools to develop software source code -Work with electronics, systems and mechanical engineers to design and debug systems -Provide end user support for both new and existing products. -Provide innovative solutions to technical problems -Analyse scope and requirements, identify and solve problems -Be a key participant of design reviews -Debugging software, using various testing methodologies, and identifying performance bottlenecks. -Technical liaison with within and outside Lucy Electric with customer, suppliers and collaboration partners -Support change management, testing, fault finding, prototype and production build.
