Tasks

-Provide advanced technical training in the installation, repair and maintenance of construction tools and equipment. -Shall have a working knowledge and skills to provide technical training in the installation, repair and maintenance of carpenter shop equipment, blade reconditioning equipment, portable power and hand tools. To provide instruction in procedures for establishing preventive maintenance schedules, set-up and maintenance of manufacturer’s and technical file, of recommended maintenance and operating procedures for construction battalion central tool rooms. -To provide technical training in the installation, repair and maintenance of carpenter shop equipment, blade reconditioning equipment, portable, power, and hand tools. -To provide instruction in procedures for establishing preventive maintenance schedules, set up and maintenance of manufacturer's and technical file, of recommended maintenance and operating procedures for construction battalion central tool rooms.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of tools and equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. -Ability to pass a background check. -Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. -Minimum 5 years of construction inspector experience. -Knowledge of Navy and OSHA maintenance and safety standards. -Previous teaching or mentoring experience is highly desirable. -Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
