Overview
Manage traffic licence applications and coordination for construction projects.

Tasks
-Act as the point of contact for all matters relating to traffic licences across the schemes at construction stage. -Facilitate cross-scheme, site level coordination of traffic licence management activities among key internal and external stakeholders (Contractor, Local Authorities, Emergency Services, TII, An Garda Siochana etc). -Providing administrative support and organisation to senior leaders. -Facilitate the smooth processing and acceptance of traffic licences using the RMO MRL System in the line with the Scope of Services of the Contract. -Delivery of work under time pressure and with conflicting priorities. -Dealing with a range of stakeholders and influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting. -Coordinate traffic licences associated with Design and Build Contractor’s site activities during project construction stage. -Provide assurances to key stakeholders that traffic licence applications are associated with approved works. -Work closely with the D&B Contractor to manage and track licence applications, ensuring wider agreements and consents are in place prior to traffic licences being implemented on site.

What You Bring
-Required to have substantial traffic management experience with significant experience carrying out temporary traffic management activities on construction projects in a live urban environment on high value road projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity. -Ability to deal with and resolve unforeseen risks and issues; -Familiarity with the Road Management Office systems for processing Traffic Permits -Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service delivery; -Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; -Fully proficient in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies; -Ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and deliver consistent service; -Working knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations. -Ability to step back from the detail and take a holistic overview; -Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent) OR extensive on-job experience with relevant formal training and compliance certificates -High level of attention to detail; -Ability to manage client expectations and deliver within agreed parameters; -Ability to work in a dynamic environment both on their own initiative and as part of a team -Working within fast paced and challenging environments. -Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sector.
