Tasks

-Preparation of electrical engineering design and documents ensuring accuracy, adequacy, and conformance to the design requirements -Coordinate Electrical aspects of projects with other discipline designs and drawings -Work within the project team environment from preliminary stages of the design through to completion -Coordinate with other team members on various projects at the same time to achieve project milestones -Accept technical guidance from designers, engineers, and senior staff

What You Bring

-Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization -Experience with Provincial and local Municipality design guidelines, the Ontario Building Code, and other applicable Canadian Engineering standards would be considered an asset -Effective team member -Become familiar with design guidelines, standards, and regulations associated with electrical engineering -Experience with Autodesk Revit considered an asset -Experience in power system design and/or construction considered an asset -Capable of working on and/or managing several projects at the same time -Access to reliable transportation for travel within Ontario, primarily London and surrounding area. -Flex Time -Effective written and verbal communication skills -Completed three years towards a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited Canadian University, or equivalent, and enrolled to complete the Degree. -Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and AutoCAD suites -Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities -Eligible for a 16-month co-op / internship registered through your post-secondary school.
