Tasks

As a valued member of the team, you will be supporting the Group Environmental Policy and its associated sustainability objectives and targets. We are looking for a dedicated and hands on Marketing & Content Manager, to play a key part in managing and promoting the club's media, content and PR activity. This role will involve taking a hands-on approach to this key function area, across the club, including Matchday’s, Partnerships, Academy, Community Trust, Women’s team and the new stadium at EcoPark. -Manage and oversee all FGR social media channels and website accounts. -Provide monthly updates to the CEO and assistance for any Board reports as required. -Maintain and protect FGRs, image and identity, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all marketing and communications. -Develop and execute content ideas and initiatives. -Manage media requests and public relations activities to build and maintain a positive profile for the club, handling external media relations when necessary. -Regularly communicate FGRs success internally and externally, sharing good news and practice. -Management of FGR Interns in key areas of the club -Manage a marketing budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing expenditures. -Develop, implement and execute a comprehensive marketing and communication plan aligned to the Club objectives. -Create written materials including press releases, articles and messaging. -Managing the Content & Media team to meet the requirements of the club and effectively provide Matchday coverage for all home and away games -Ensure all marketing and communications adhere to the relevant FGR policies and procedures.

What You Bring

-Passion & creativity for creating strategic marketing and communication -Experience of key content platforms would be desirable (Adobe Creative Cloud, Premier Pro, etc) -A high degree of flexibility is needed to work around the busy football calendar -Organised, focused and have a keen eye for detail -Progressive attitude towards innovation, creativity and thinking outside the box -This role is subject to a background check and successful DBS check, prior to employment commencing. -Strong experience of using Microsoft Office suite software is required -Degree or equivalent in media or marketing would be preferrable -Experience at managing budgets and workload -Excellent communications skills and approachable to others -Experience with managing media and public relations in a dynamic environment, preferably within elite sport -A full driving license is required. -Availability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, to cover Matchday fixtures and events.
