Tasks

-Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. -Lead an agenda of technical excellence and continuous improvement in the practice whilst being accountable for quality assurance standards in design. -Grow, develop and manage mechanical engineering capability within the practice. Bring pioneering innovation, contribute to advances in knowledge and understanding, and provide vision and inspiration to others. -Be a strategic partner for our Clients, sought out by them as a go-to person within your technical field. -Be accountable for technical delivery and safety, to high-quality levels across multiple projects and programmes, acting as a point of escalation for resolutions of complex technical matters. -Accountable for quality assurance standards in design. -Set our technical strategic direction for projects and bid proposals, as well as acting as a subject-matter-expert.

What You Bring

-Multi-disciplinary integration and co-ordination experience and expertise. -Influential and esteemed leadership, internally and externally. -A strategic and transformational mindset. -Nationally or international recognised subject matter expertise in your discipline(s). -Chartered or Fellow Mechanical Engineer. -Comprehensive knowledge in mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, screens and chemical dosing plant as well as a deep understanding of current UK design standards and working practices.
