Tasks

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised Administrator to join our Home Ownership & Commercial Team on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this varied and rewarding role, you'll provide a professional, efficient and courteous service to residents and customers of the Home Ownership Service. You'll also deliver comprehensive administrative support to the wider Home Ownership and Commercial Services Team, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and effectively day to day. As part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll play a vital role in helping us achieve our performance objectives and deliver an excellent customer experience. -Support efficient housing management with organisational assistance -Offer administrative support using MS Office, QL, and document storage systems; create QL tasks for workflow management -Collaborate with teams like Sales, Lettings, and Repairs to resolve queries -Serve as the primary contact for internal and external inquiries, addressing issues promptly -Monitor arrears and assist with income management -Handle mail and office supplies, and perform general office duties -Help produce statistical reports for various purposes -Manage invoices and communal service charges via eBis; address contractor inquiries regarding payments -Process notices for Intermediate Rent tenancies and handle related IT tasks; arrange home visit schedules -Manage the team email inbox, ensuring timely response to queries -Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and homeowners, fostering professional relationships -Support pre-purchase sales inquiries and facilitate income collection through Call Pay services

What You Bring

-Strong organisational skills, including record-keeping, workload prioritisation, and meeting deadlines. -Proven administrative experience within an office environment, including data inputting, filing, record keeping and word processing. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). -Experience of delivering high-quality customer service to members of the public. -Experience using computerised information systems and databases. -The ability to present information clearly and accurately, both in writing and verbally.

Benefits

-This is a full-time position requiring 37 hours per week, The typical working week is based on a standard schedule of 9 AM to 5 PM, from Monday to Friday. -27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays -Following the initial 2 weeks, the position transitions to a hybrid model, allowing for some flexibility. -Starting salary of  £24,243 per annum -During the initial two weeks, you will be required to work from the office for training. Following this period, you will have the flexibility to work remotely and come into an office Once times a week. We also occasionally collaborate as a team at various office locations.
