Tasks

We’re currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for onboarding, employee communications, HRIS, apprenticeships, and HR-related inquiries. You’ll play a key role in supporting up to 30 new hires per week and ensuring a seamless employee experience. -Reconcile and validate HRIS data to ensure integrity -Promote a positive employee experience through communication and problem-solving -Serve as the main contact for employee communications and HR inquiries -Escalate employee issues while maintaining confidentiality -Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws -Lead and manage pre-boarding and orientation for new hires -Administer performance reviews and assessments -Propose and help administer personnel policies -Maintain accurate employee records and process status changes

What You Bring

-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field -Prior experience with E-Verify and resolving alerts -Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred -Knowledge of state and federal employment laws -Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities -Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms -Strong customer service and communication skills -Familiarity with UKG or other HR software -Experience in the construction industry or similar field preferred -Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Specialist or Coordinator -FSA, HSA, DCFSA, CSA
