The Role

Overview

Lead HCM systems, oversee Oracle Cloud HCM, manage team, align IT with HR goals.

Tasks

-Maintain and raise standards for quality processes and documentation of the HCM processes. Reduce technical waste by use of best practices such as wireframes, document controls and sign-offs. -Update executives through both informal and formal communications on initiatives. This includes clear business outcomes, milestones and budgets. The goal is to strive for visibility and accountability. -Research alternatives that are in line with corporate objectives, particularly if the software is to be purchased or developed in-house or with external consultants. -Acts as an embedded partner with the HR team to deliver value initiatives across the ACCO enterprise. Examples include continuing improvement in streamlining hiring and improving worker safety. Must be able to manage critical issues by understanding the problems and executing the appropriate solution. -Promote best practices in systems implementation in Consulting, It and the business teams. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, talk and hear. -Mentor all Business Analysts, Systems Analysts and Developers in enterprise best practices. -Work directly with business leaders, managers, and users to gain a full understanding of issues as well as possible alternatives. -Manage staff and consultants to ensure their efforts are focused on the most important priorities. -Vendor and resource account management and negotiation -Provide documentation on complex initiatives when needed so issues and prioritizations are understood. -Formalize proposed change(s) to address the limitations of current practices. Define requirements and scope -Will be responsible for vendor management and the use of SOW’s for clarity in scope, milestones and budget. -Be a leader in promoting and preparing documentation including Charters, Business Requirements, ROI Analysis, Deployment Forms, User Documentation and Project Planning.

What You Bring

-Risk analysis training -5+ years of comparable experience in Oracle HCM -Ability to lead a team through complex problems independently and to seek out and generate innovative solutions. -Ability to identify and marshal resources (people, funding, support) to get projects initiated and completed. -Able to effectively lead and hold teams accountable. This includes but is not limited to acknowledging team member contribution, mentoring team members, and resolving conflicts. -BS degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience. -Project management skills -Minimum 10 years of successful experience working with senior business managers. -Big Picture: Understands and contributes to organizations’ short- and long-term business strategy. On a personal level has independently developed a vision for short- and long-term career success. -Able to communicate effectively with all necessary parties throughout the project planning process. -Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system design. Stays current with application best practices. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. -Works well independently and has the communication skills to ensure all stakeholders understand and agree to the prioritization of effort. -Understands and demonstrates appropriate discretion with sensitive information. -The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. -Problem-Solver: Ability to identify, analyze, and solve a problem in support of personal, group, department, or organizational objectives. -Teamwork: The ability to effectively work toward common goals with others by supporting, encouraging, and sharing information in an authentic and approachable manner. -Ability to influence a significant transformation in the business technology platforms. -Insight: The ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities. -Demonstrated ability to mentor team members. -Experience in Fortune 100 companies and smaller startup companies. -Time Management -Extensive knowledge of the enterprise technology landscape and ability to leverage that knowledge in delivering business outcomes with speed. -Must be able to keep confidential sensitive data regarding ACCO employees. Must stay current on ACCO Cyber Policies. Candidate must follow and promote ACCO best practices and statutory policies ( i.e. CCPA ) when handling sensitive data. -Engagement: Shows a knack for using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people. -Experience with industry leading systems across: -Ability to quickly adapt to new business teams. This includes leadership in acquisitions. -Able to demonstrate customer service skills. -Ability to manage resources within the project schedules and budgets.
