Tasks

-Assist the Corporate IT team -Ensure that the guidelines, standards, and norms set by the corporate IT area are followed in the India office -Monitor and upgrade IT hardware and software for efficiency and security. -Conduct security audits and investigations for compliance and risk mitigation. -Maintain a knowledge base of recurring IT issues and solutions. -Ensure the reliability of environments, telecommunication systems, and IT equipment. -Lead, mentor, and evaluate IT staff, ensuring a high-performance team. -Develop and enforce IT policies and best practices for security, software and hardware. -Provide 2nd-line support for business applications and software troubleshooting. -Train employees on IT systems and cybersecurity best practices. -Stay updated on the best industry compliance frameworks and laws. -Administer Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows servers for optimal performance. -Manage vendor contracts and ensure seamless integration of third-party IT solutions. -Implement IT security policies, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. -Provide cybersecurity awareness training to employees. -Stay updated on industry trends and recommend technology improvements. -Align IT initiatives with business needs, optimizing technology investments. -Oversee helpdesk operations, ensuring timely support and resolution. -Oversee IT networks, storage, and end-user devices. -Oversee IT support operations, ensuring efficient issue resolution and adherence to SLAs. -Act as the main IT liaison to Corporate IT at the India Office.

Experience & Leadership -Recognized IT certifications (e.g., Windows, Cisco, A+, ITIL, Azure, Oracle) -Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical users -10-15 years of IT experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role -Backup & Disaster Recovery: IT Business Continuity Planning, Cybersecurity protocols -Excellent leadership and team management abilities -Experience in training and mentoring IT staff -Strong strategic thinking, planning, and organizational skills -Networking & Security: Firewalls, VPNs, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VLANs -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities -Experience managing IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders -Familiarity with helpdesk operations, ticketing systems, and SLAs -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills -Systems Administration: Windows Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint -Proven track record in IT project management and change management -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field -Strong background in IT infrastructure, security, and risk management -Cloud & Virtualization: Microsoft Azure, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) -Advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s in IT, MBA with IT focus)
