Tasks

-Perform data entry of test requisition information. -Resolve and document problem specimens. -Unpack specimens from branches or ports and route them by type to various staging areas. -Prepare all specimens received for testing, including staging, centrifuging, separating serum, and creating blood smears. -Prepare laboratory specimens for designated departments or locations prior to analysis and testing. -Aliquot samples for departments and prepare excess specimen samples for storage.

What You Bring

-Strong medical record and data entry skills, particularly 10-key data entry with the ability to key numbers at 5,000-6,000 KSPH. -Entry-level experience is acceptable. -1-2 years of experience is preferred. -Data entry scores must be submitted in the application. -Familiarity with specimen collection, laboratory procedures, and biology or life sciences. -A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. -Proficiency in accessioning, SOP, and specimen processing.
