Tasks

This role offers the opportunity to oversee large-scale ground-up Publix Super Market projects and other high-profile retail developments from start to finish. -Track progress, manage schedules, and document daily site reports, inspections, and deliveries. -Monitor quality, enforce project specifications, and ensure compliance with all codes and regulations. -Proactively identify field challenges, safety concerns, and scheduling risks to keep projects on track. -Lead daily field operations and ensure all construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. -Supervise subcontractors, field personnel, and site logistics to maintain an efficient and productive job site. -Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site that reflects company standards. -Conduct daily site meetings and maintain clear communication with the Project Manager and project stakeholders.

A leading commercial general contractor with a strong presence across the Southeast is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage ground-up retail and commercial construction projects. The company is recognized for delivering quality builds and fostering strong relationships through teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. -Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. -Previous work with a commercial general contractor is essential. -Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices. -Proven experience managing ground-up Publix Super Market projects is required. -Proficiency in scheduling and project management software such as Procore or MS Project. -OSHA 30-hour certification preferred. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project documents. -Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
