The Role

Tasks

-Coordinate company participation in classroom presentations, community trade events, and educational expos to enhance brand awareness and talent engagement. -Represent Loenbro at career fairs and collaborate with HR and recruiting teams to ensure alignment with company recruiting standards and processes (SOP). -Partner with business units to ensure exposure opportunities highlight Loenbro’s values, culture, and career paths to attract future interns and apprentices. -Develop and maintain partnerships with local technical high schools, trade schools, and workforce development boards to promote careers in the skilled trades. -Lead the planning and execution of Loenbro’s summer intern program, including recruitment, onboarding, placement, budget, and program evaluation. -Lead the integration of mentorship programs and manage to provide a cohesive, company-wide mentorship experience that supports employee growth and retention. -Design and implement joint initiatives with local schools and colleges such as trailer visits, site tours, job-shadow days, and hands-on demonstrations.

What You Bring

-Experience managing internship or mentorship programs preferred. -Strong organizational and project management abilities. -Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse audiences. -Minimum 3–5 years of experience in community engagement, workforce development, recruiting, or related field. -Ability to work independently and collaboratively across business units. -Experience building partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with digital engagement tools. -Equivalent experience in workforce development, community relations, or training coordination will be considered. -Strong understanding of skilled trades, construction, or engineering industries is highly desirable. -Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. -Demonstrated success in coordinating outreach events, career fairs, or educational initiatives.
