Tasks

-Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff -Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff -Mentor and inspire junior engineers dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions -Collaborate with talented professionals across disciplines in a flexible work environment -Assess and improve aging infrastructure to enhance reliability and resilience of water distribution systems -Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for water treatment projects -Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital water infrastructure -Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions -Lead challenging water treatment projects that push the boundaries of engineering -Design and optimize water treatment facilities for both public and industrial applications, prioritizing water quality, regulatory compliance, and public health protection

What You Bring

-Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required -Professional Engineer (PE) license required -Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment -Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws -Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, Plant3D, Civil 3D, WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office -Proficient in all aspects of water treatment design from supply to treatment plant and distribution system -Knowledge of water treatment design standards -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
