The Role

Overview

Create and modify detailed CAD drawings/3D models for civil infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Draft detail drawings of marinas, wharfs, bulkhead walls, piers, bridges, ferry terminals, hydraulic structures, structures (steel, concrete, timber & masonry) and shoreline construction (beaches, nourishment, revetments, breakwaters) -Transform initial rough designs/sketches and redlines/mark-ups into finished graphics/construction documents -Review engineering drawings to ensure adherence to established CAD standards -Interact and coordinate with all stakeholders (engineers, sampling group, construction, clients, subcontractors, government agencies, etc.)

What You Bring

-Associate’s degree in civil engineering technology or equivalent -Working knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural details, the development of horizontal and vertical alignments, grading, profiles, sections, quantities, surfaces, and knowledge of CAD standards -5+ years Autodesk Civil 3D -5 + years BIM/Revit -Required software experience for a senior level position:5+ years Autodesk Civil 3D5 + years Microstation/OpenRoads Designer5 + years BIM/Revit -Ideal software experience:BluebeamInventorAdvance Steel Navisworks Recap 3ds Max -3ds Max -Sound knowledge of engineering design principles and construction methods -5 + years Microstation/OpenRoads Designer -Advance Steel
