Lease Analyst

Overview

Analyze commercial lease agreements, abstract data into CoStar system, ensure accuracy.

Tasks

-Identify and communicate discrepancies and raise any questions as needed -Dates – Calculating all dates -Review and interpret commercial leases, amendments, licenses, and related real estate documents. -Perform audits of key financial terms and dates to legal documents and data -Effectively summarize data without compromising legal intent or meaning -Abstract commercial real estate leases and supporting lease documents into CoStar Real Estate Manager’s application by following instructions and training materials -Meet or exceed daily production goals with a target of 98% or greater accuracy

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Accounting or similar field preferred and/or Paralegal Certificate -Prior work with commercial real estate lease administration systems a plus -Degree in real estate, accounting, or a similar field -Law degree or paralegal certificate -Excellent communication and organizational skills -3+ years of Commercial Real Estate, Lease Administration, Property Accounting or related contract review experience -Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational, written and verbal skills -Lease Clauses - Comprehensive understanding of Lease Clauses such as Co-Tenancy, Exclusive Use, Radius Restriction, Surrender, etc. -Experience abstracting commercial real estate leases -Recognize and accurately abstract critical data elements such as: -Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat -Ability to be self-motivated while working in a team environment -Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College -High Proficiency in grammar, spelling and proof reading -Ability and willingness to adapt to changing requirements and projects
